The Engineering Department is responsible for capital improvements within the village including design layout, formulation of bids, coordination with private contractors and inspections throughout construction. In addition, zoning permits and code enforcement are under the direction of the village engineer.

Carma Grime, Planning/Zoning Inspector, can be reached at 419-446-2109 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 to 4:30.

Permits are required for new homes, structural additions, fences, pools, decks, signs, and utility sheds. These are the most frequently requested permits.
